Fanfic 2 Read: Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Vs Power Ranger Samurai

Ah! I am finally back! After a long time of hibernating from blog posts that nobody actually care about and from fanfiction of fictions, someone finally help me by telling me what could I post next. Thanks a lot, ChrisX. Check out his post because it seems he is waay better than me in getting ideas on what to post. Seriously, I have no idea on what should I do.

Before I talked about Zukini's Super Sentai Vs Power Ranger, where we found out how much unsatisfactory I can have toward his. My fanfiction is cretainly bad, but I certainly hates someone who is waay worse than mine.

So, if you think that SSVsPR is bad because of the uncontrollable amount of characters, you might have thought that smaller amount of characters will make more differences, right? Well, let me introduce you to Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger Vs Power Ranger Samurai by Arnold McGuire 335.

If there is a team-up of these two only, I'm still going to support it. In fact, I'm doing it right now...

A hate fic. Showing his hatred toward Power Rangers. Making them a bad guy when we obviously know that ALL Power Rangers are good people. Seriously, have you ever seen bad Power Rangers? Owh, you are thinking about Green Mighty Morphin, Psycho Rangers and White Dino Thunder (both versions) right?

Well, guess what! Green MM and White DT (Trent) are all used by evil. They couldn't think straight much at that time. But when they do, they started fighting for good, right? And the other White DT is just a clone all along. Psycho Rangers? They don't have the word 'Power' inside their team name. You cannot call them Power Rangers without that...

So, Arnold's sole reason for hating PR is because, we all know, they are adaptations of Super Sentai. So what?

Why won't he goes mad about Zaido, Metal Heroes' adaptation to Philipine? And what about Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, KR Ryuki's US version?

I don't mind if you want to hate on Power Rangers IF their story are really bad (example: Disney's Power Rangers, mostly SPD, except RPM) but NOT because of the fact that they are adaptations.

So what if there people who thinks every colored heroes are Power Rangers? It's not like they actually know what Super Sentai is. They don't get the sudden knowledge of Super Sentai after watching Power Rangers to actually acknowledge them. You know them by research.

And they did not deserve the hate because they obviously tell everyone that they are adapted from Super Sentai in the credits. Owh, wait. Did anyone actually bother in watching credit? No? Well, that's your fault. Don't blame them.

To be honest, I love Power Rangers as well, especially RPM. Maybe not much on Samurai, but there are Power Rangers that is awesome! Just like how there are Super Sentai that gives a bit of facepalming by fans...

Anyway, back to the fanfic, it's mostly about how the two team meet up and fight. Without any proper intro. They were all like "Hey, I hate you. Let's fight."

Seriously? The very first introduction they could have get in any team up is "Who are you? Let's introduce ourselves together."

Heck, I don't think Carranger Vs Ohranger did "I hate you. Let's fight," before they fight each other. They were more like "Why are you helping that thing that I think is evil? You deserve a fight!" kind of thing.

You know what good intro I think we should have for both group? Like this:

Luka: Shinkenger? But we have their keys.

Gai: They are not Shinkenger! Not from what I know.

Marvelous: Interesting!

Emily: Are they...Power Rangers too

Mike: Maybe they are the different kind of Power Rangers. You know, like RPM?

Jayden: Let us find out.

There. Simple. Is it so hard to think of something like that?

Owh, and guess what? He makes it as if Samurai are evil that they trusted obviously monsters that easy. Not to be racist here, but if you never have an alien friend before, how can you trust a monster-looking alien to fight human-looking alien that obviously leaving with earthling peacefully just like that? What, is Samurai lose their kindness now, that they just blatantly fight them?

And no! Power Rangers are NOT the copy of Super Sentai! Let me ask you this. Is the name of the Red Samurai is Takeru Shiba? Is the name of that thing they use to change is called Shodophone? Is the villain is called Gedoushuu? Is the name of the goddamn main robot is Shinken-Oh? Are the characters of the show are mostly Japanese? Are you thinking that Power Rangers are not just the imitation of Super Sentai? Then if all the answers are no, then congratulations! You failed English! You literally didn't know what the meaning of the word "copy".

Call me Grammar Nazi, but you are literally making yourself a fool if you think that way, the same as how fool those people who thinks Super Sentai is the adaptation of Power Rangers. No, maybe you are worse because you actually know those two!

And how did the two team ended up together? I DON'T KNOW! NO F(BLEEP)ING EXPLANATION!

We all know that in Super Hero Taisen, Marvelous actually said to the rest of Gokaigers that both Kamen Riders and Super Sentai cannot live in the same world together. Meaning, somehow their worlds emerge.

But did Arnold say anything about how the two fuse? No idea. He didn't even mention any.

And Mega Mode is used outside of Megazord battle? How stupid is...he? Or she? I don't know, can someone confirm this Arnold's identity? I don't even know if he is a human or a Zangyack alien. Maybe he works with Basco, trying to put up a fight between the two team so that Gokaiger will get casualities while Basco effortlessly get all the powers. Maybe he works with Deker, trying to kill of those Samurai so that Jayden will be in despair and agree to fight Deker?

Either way, the fic is cancelled because obviously hate fics will never get their proper endings.

Hmmm, this Arnold alien give me a good one-shot review fic idea; a continuation of that thing! I'll give you a spoiler, thanks to RPM and Akibaranger, the barrier of the worlds will be open and let the two team to beat up Arnold to death. Okay, maybe worse than just dead...

Owh, stars? Nah, this thing is already canceled, so it does not deserve even 0.000001 star(s).

Seriously, if you guys are looking for a better Gokaiger Vs Samurai, just read GokaiMaster's because it is indeed the true team up fic.

The Issue With Go-busters Continuity in Super Sentai

In Tokumei Sentai Go-busters, it is stated that the story is somehow in the future. The year is rather than the standard Anno Domini, it is now in Anno Novi.

First, one should know that for the calendar to change it's name, it has to have something new happened in one year that effects the whole world, then the calendar can change it's name (learned from Gundam). Since Enetron is found waay before the Go-busters get their powers, so I assumed that Anno Novi calendar is created in the future of this world.

So, where is Go-busters within the Super Sentai? Is Gokaiger is the end for every single continuity in Super Sentai? Or Go-busters is just somehow in the future of the timeline? Like Timeranger except they don't travel back through time?

My guess? Yes.

Since Toei is all about money, so this can become their excuse to have the next Super Sentai anniversary. But I doubt that they are going to have Go-busters Vs Gokaiger, since they met in Super Hero Taisen. Unless they give no sh!t to continuity and canon in storyline...

Top Ten Super Sentai Team Finishers

Now I am going to start my first Top Ten. Please remember that this is my opinions only and does not concern anything of what people said.

And now we are going to have Top Ten Super Sentai Team Finishers. This will only covers full team finishers that is used frequently to finish off enemies. If there is less people in that attack, that's called combination attacks.

Also, I only covers something I've watched. If I never watch it, then it won't be there. So, no Showa.

10. D-Cannon (Dekaranger)

It's a dog! Don't you question me! And this thing didn't even get to be used a lot.

9. Gosei Buster (Goseiger)

To be truth, I love this thing. But I have to put it down here because it takes too long to just shoot the enemy with this. They have to say a really long dialogue then they agreed to shoot. It's like a countdown for each members. And it's wasting so many frames!

8. Voltech Bazooka (Timeranger)

It's a bazooka made out of smaller blasters. A BAZOOKA MADE OUT OF SMALLER BLASTERS!

7. Super Highway Buster (Go-Onger)

I don't know. It seems really cool that one of the weapon act as the bullet for the blaster...

6.  Rekka Daizantou Ozutsu Mode (Shinkenger)

This count as team finishers more because the four (or five) vassals give their discs, representing their powers to their leader. But why is it down here? Beause even if the series shows the disc using different power basics (Tora, Kabuto, Kajiki), it just the energy beam with different shape. No other side effect! Also, can I use Saisyu Ougi Disc or Super Disc or Zen Samurai Gattai Disc as the power basic?

5. Gokai Galleon Buster (Gokaiger)

Fine, this is just the same this as Rekka Daizantou's. But at least from the toy catalogue we know that we can use any keys for that! And the sound effects are addicting! RED CHARGE! PINK CHARGE! GREEN CHARGE! SUPPRESSOR CHARGE! RISING STRIKE!

4. Triple Connection Triple Gadget (Hurricanger)

I love this for how you can use it in three different modes. And it comes with three different effects! How's that, Shinkenger?!

3. Super Dino Victory (Abaranger Vs Hurricanger)

A blaster made up of weapons from two team. Now that's cool! I mean, how many time can you see such thing happens? It's not even impossible!

2. Evil-Crushing Hyakujuken (Gaoranger)

It's a sword! Not a blaster! A freaking huge sword made up by a lot of weapons! How awesome is that?

1. Dual Crusher (Boukenger)

But, this thing can be used by one person only, right? Maybe, but Boukenger keeps on using it as the main finishing weapon. It have two styles; Drill Head and Mixer Head. To think about it, it is kinda humiliating for the enemies if they ever get hit by the Mixer Head first then got destroyed by Drill Head. Think about it, you get froze by cement and when you have hard time breathing inside there, without any warning you got drilled that lead to your defeat.

Fanfic 2 Read: Super Sentai Vs Power Rangers

This one supposed to be known as Fanfic (NOT) 2 Read. I don't like this thing, but I'll still review it anyway.

Super Sentai Vs Power Rangers is a fanfiction made by Sean Akizuki. Looking at how good this blog goes, one would have thought that this fic is going to be superb.

It's not.

This one sucks so bad. So bad that even Long would rather run into Doukokugan back.

This fic is known for how over biased the story goes. Sean favors more of his favorite characters than others and even bashing some characters. Read it on your own risk. Wear sunglasses in case of bleeding.

The story starts with Jetman recruiting some of the newer Super Sentai teams to build a team to fight the evil forces of United Alliance of Evil, consist of Radiguet (leader) and some other villains, mostly big bads of both Power Rangers and Super Sentai series. While that happen, Power Rangers (Saban's version only) eventually shown up and join forces with the Super Sentai. The bad guys travel across the time to create a paradox in order to eliminate Super Sentai once and for all while the good guys prevent those from happening. Owh, Gokaiger here isn't canon, so consider this story is AU.

Sounds really cool, isn't it? Except the part where Sean didn't use the characters available in the story. This thing gives out a lot of issues that I might could not mention all in this post.

In that abomination, we will mostly seen Takeru, Mako, Gai Yuuki, Hoji, Gokaigers, Satoru, Sakura, Cole, MMPR, Justin, PR Samurai, Kaoru, Spike and some others I could not traced. The funny thing is, it is already mentioned in the first chapter and forwards that there are a lot of Super Sentai in that secret base, yet Sean keeps on using some that he loves, leave the one he is neutral with doing nothing, and punish the one that he doesn't really likes.

Let's have a riddle for a while. What do you get when you cross Jetman with softer and lighter tone? A punch from a Jetman's fan.

Okay, so you are telling me that you are combining characters from darker series and lighter series into one fanfic? That's fine, but at least don't make the whole story softer then Goseiger.

I feel like reading Power Rangers adaptation here! The whole storyline is so not making any sense that even Bruce Kalish will laugh out loud and die on his bed for this!

First, we have a really bad characteristic change. Every single people there sounds so bad. They doesn't sound what they are supposed to sound like. Even Radiguet gets the same treatment. He suddenly looks stupid more than Oiles Gils. He is supposed to become a character everyone hate and suddenly he become an ass clown.

And why is he the leader of bad guys? Why not Long? He is the immortal dragon. And how did Radiguet knows how to seal Long back to Doukokugan? Did he learn Rin Jyuken? This doesn't make sense even one bit!

Okay, this one still have Gokaiger in it. It's non-canon style, fine. But where is Marvelous badassery! He is supposed to be one dude most girls would fell for, if he is not be careful. Him in this just being plain.

And since we have thousand of character here, we have to bear reading their full names over and over. I mean, is it really hard for everyone to memorized the characters that was taken from TV SHOWS!?

And we have weird crack pairings. Kiros and Mako? Okay, that's fine. Yosuke and Tori? Hmm...that's interesting. Hurricanger and Ninja Storm... Billy and Ranru? Uh-huh...*stare* Spike and Kaoru? Wait, what? Radiguet and Kimberly? Cole and Sakura? WHAT. THE. HELL. IS THIS GUY THINKING!? Are you making an interracial porn here? Or is this just another stupid wet dream and you had to share that with us?

And some good characters are mentioned with out them doing anything good! What's with that? What were they doing this whole time? Did they say anything about going to join in the fight?

And I am sick on looking at how (you know what. He disgraced the name Sean, so I just called him Zukini) Zukini loves Cole so much that he had AkaRed infuse body with him and giving him his own Super Sentai form called Red Conquerer, which is basically Gao Red/Red Wild Force with AkaRed's helmet. Can't you at least make it original?

Why and how AkaRed infused his body with Cole? Just because AkaRed made of hope of past Super Sentai, doesn't mean he doesn't have a solid body to fight by his own. Why Cole? Why you paired him with Sakura? And why Sakura?

We also had to see the same character over and over that it feels like any other people there are just demoted to kurokos.

And he keep on bashing anyone he dislike over and over and thinking about how funny that event is. Which is not. Is Zukini is a bully in his school that he enjoys looking at other people misery? Is that why he made that detention center scene, which is unnecessary and stupid at the same time?

Detention center is a place where Zukini use this punish anyone he dislike by putting stones on their back (or that's what I read). What is this, a military? Did you expect all other rangers are as tough as when they are not transformed?

The fight scene isn't good either. One thing we knew there will be a huge great fight and 2 seconds later we found out the good guy wins. He doesn't even describe how the fight goes. Did you know how long we authors had to take just to make a good fight scene? Don't ignore it like it is not important!

And don't get me started on the Ranger Keys segment that is recently aired. If you guys didn't know how Ranger Keys actually work, it can only be used by being held by their original users and through Mobirate and Gokai Cellular, except Gokaigers' Ranger Keys since they are powers in the form key anyways.

By the word of Zukini, you only need to hold the key tight and shout the magic words (the words those Sentai used to transform) to become the specific rangers. That doesn't make sense, even if the whole story is AU. What if I hold Go-On Gold and Go-On Silver keys, can I become Go-On Wings? Or Gokai Red and Gokai Green, can I become Battle Italia-I mean, Gokai Christmas? Or if I were showered in all keys, can become an abomination of Super Sentai by shouting those words one by one? Can I call that Chimera Ranger (which I'm going to use in one of my fics)?

The whole story is suck so bad! Even the crossover with other past Sentais' interactions is bad! The whole time traveling is like as follows: Hey, It's that guy! Let's fight together! Don't worry, I'll handle this. Done, bye-bye!

You know, it's suck so bad that I wish Zukini turns into the real Zuccini so Radiguet can eat him...

There's a lot of thing I would like to say, but I get information explosion when I am writing this post. It's just too many that many people had complained over and over. And yet he doesn't even listen to us.

I give this sh- pickle 0.1 stars out of 5. No pictures and links given through the post because it doesn't deserve this. Just google it yourself if you want to read this so bad...

Originated earlier this year after I saw a lot of fanfics for Shinkenger just got over...the top!

Shinkenger is a Super Sentai series that is widely famous for how Power Rangers adaptation nearly got canceled away from people's eyes...just kidding. The series is known for how epic it can be. And also the first originality that nobody would ever though; Samurai! Also the first SS to get 3D treatment for the summer movie, which is seriously short. Either thanks to the budget on Decade, or on the "thwee-dee" or both.

Now, since Shinkenger's storyline is really good that you can see that the characters' personality undergo really good developments.

By using the myth of "All Fanfic Writers Are Female" and seeing how romantic storyline always been associated with ladies, plus how much Shinkenger's pairings are, and how those pairings are still left unsettled, try to do the math.

Kotoha: Chiaki-kun, may I give you a massage like a good wife did on the bed?
Chiaki: Well, why not- Wait, what!?

The result? Thousand of fanfics regarding those Shinkengers. Even without love story, they tend to get more important roles and storylines if the fics are crossovers. What worse, those crossover even gets romantic treatment!

I know most of us are disappointed with Toei for not finishing the pairing so that it can become like Jetman, but there's no need for a lot of stuff about how Kotoha loves Chiaki/Takeru/Ryunosuke/Genta/Hikoma/Juzo/Mako/Dayuu/Shitari/Doukoku/Alata/Tsukasa/Kaito/Nanashi/Kuroko/Flute/Shinkenmaru/Saru Origami/Hiden Disc! Enough is enough!

As you can see, Kotoha suddenly becomes a launcher of thousand ships, thanks to her moe and how underage she is if we used international age. Eww!! You guys are so pedophile! How gross!

I do hope you guys stop doing those after seeing this.

This is something I hate because I have to see a lot of Shinkenger fanfics everytime I am searching for a new fic to waste my time on! Can't you see how tiring that is!

I don't care how cute TakeruXMako/TakeruXKotoha/TakeruXRyunosuke/TakeruXChiaki/TakeruXGenta/TakeruXJuzo/MakoXKotoha/RyunosukeXMako/ChiakiXDayuu/KotohaXFlute/HikomaXKuroko/GentaXSushi/ShinkenmaruXHidenDisc pairing is! I don't like how you waste on time doing something that would most likely ended up the same thing!

Seriously, guys. Let us all stop this pointless act of overdoing it before Shinkenger ended up as Den-O sentai version, overused and hated by most fandom.

Since Gokaiger is now really becoming famous, I do hope we won't get any a lot of Ahim and Marvelous/Joe/Don/Luka/Gai/Basco/Oiles Gils/Damaras/Insarn/Ackdos Gils/Sally/Gai Yuuki/Gavan/Mobirates/Gokai Cellular/Ranger Keys/Gokai Gun/Gokai Saber/Takeru/Kotoha/Any other Shinkenger/Any other Super Sentai/Eiji Hino/Any other Kamen Rider/Radiquet/ChrisX and worse of all, Sean Akizuki...

By looking at her cuteness, I'm not sure if those above will not happen...

Fanfic 2 Read: Super Sentai Vs Super Sentai

A proper massively multiplayer story featuring one character from each team from Goranger towards Shinkenger (no Goseiger and Gokaiger, sorry folks).

Well, minus that one beside Shinken Red and all of his team, of course...

Yes, it is Super Sentai Vs Super Sentai by Neo Juste Belmont. There's also Another version.

The first Super Sentai Vs Super Sentai consists of Takeru (Shinken Red), Youhei (Blue Turbo), Miki (Goggle Pink), Gai (Black Condor), Sayaka (Change Mermaid), Remi (Five Yellow), Dai (Green Flash) and Mako (Shinken Pink). Also featuring Yuusuke (Red Flacon) and Ryuu (Dyna Black).

Another is a story about the second team consists of Takeru (Red Mask), Hoji (Deka Blue), Mei (Ptera Ranger), Jiraiya (Ninja Black), Chisato (Mega Yellow), Mele (Chameleon-ken User) and Mikoto (Abare Killer). Also featuring Sakura (Bouken Pink).

Although in different teams, both share the near identical storyline; AkaRed's team fought a Big Bad called Rufecil in a parallel world where Super Sentai other than them does not exist. Villains from each team appear in that world with those heroes are summoned into that world. The whole story plot is all about a prophecy about a team consist of 7-colored warriors are destined to save that world. But, since there is two team already, we would have this 'Double Rainbow' feeling. Hope no one will get high reading this....

Belmont gives a good storyline for each of the rangers and managed to create a balanced storyline with no one being given a lot of focus; neither Gai nor Takeru. Also, their interactions with each other are very well done, with no one being out of characters.

But, there is something that make me sad, Shinkenger Love, a phenomenon causes by a lot of fans giving them more priority. In the first team, there are two Shinkengers represantatives, Takeru and Mako. I do hope Mako is just an extra, mainly because I don't want to see too much Takeru/Mako moment. But...then again, Belmont knows what is he doing...

I can't really see any flaws in that story. It's all done too well to be criticize. The only thing I can say is that, 'SUPPORT HIM!" Don't you guys ever let this good story to be left hanging without any proper ending, just like what happened to any other good fics.

I give this thing 4 out of 5

Fanfic 2 Read: Super Sentai Academia

Fanfic 2 Read is a section where I recommend any of you fanfictions lover a story to read. And my first post is about Super Sentai Academia by Captain redryuranger11.

                                                        Kind of like this, but with schools and additional rangers and space colony...

It's about years after Super Sentai as the world is now in apocalypse and an academy trains the new generation of Super Sentai to fight monsters.

What I like about this story is how the author dedicated in this. Redryuranger11 is known for his work, Elemental Sentai Kodenrager. The fics are put into Mary Sue list as the protagonist, who used to be the author's favourite (since the name Ryu is used up a lot) ended up called as Mary Sue character. He gets all the girls and everyone likes him. He is supposed to be a weakling but suddenly become a hero.

That causes the author to suffer a breakdown. Ryu become his most hated character. He backs with re-write of the same fic, but failed to continue for some reason. Maybe because he still hate Ryu.

It is surprised to see the difference of the first Elemental Sentai Kodenranger and Super Sentai Academia in story telling. While Kodenranger is like a comedy sitcom, Academia is focus a lot in the plot.

Th unique of this fic is that the author use a method where only some fics used it; character submission. You can submit your own original character into the story, just make sure you follow the rule given. There is also Fake Rangers Submission, where you can create your own ranger powers. Be sure to discuss about your characters first with the author before submitting it. If you just submit like that, he will ban the fake rangers submission on everyone until you get it right. I once suffered from it.

You can also submit your own monsters in a forum provided. Of course, your monster will get destroyed by the rangers...

The author is so dedicated, that in my list of fanfiction subscribe, he is the fastest one to post a new chapter. And it is always fun reading it, especially when your character appear in the chapter.
